Answers

Good use of the ridges and distance to create depth. The slope to the RHS creates a sense of swooping/flying motion in me... I suspect the scan doesn't do this image much justice.

It's a great composition; however, the foreground seems dark, and the URH corner seems blown-out. As stated, these may be scanning problems, also...

Just checked the print and yes it does fade in that top right hand corner, not as bad as it looks on the scan but definetly fades. It's a full 35mm frame so could be the neg or the enlarger. The print has good detail in the foreground... these scans.. grrr must get a decent scanner one day soon!
