Should OK have a team at next year's Crystal Relays?

The Crystal Relay is a five-person relay that is part of the "Rocky Mountain 1000 Days." This year's RM1000 just ended. Should we get together a team for next year's relay?

The current plan (according to organizer Mikell Platt) is for next year's competitions to be in mid-late August in the forests just east of Laramie, Wyoming. The terrain is fast, the orienteering is interesting, and the maps are excellent. It is the sort of place were OK could do well (...then again we can do well in any terrain!).

So, how about it?

The Crystal Relays are not without some prestige. It is surprising then that only a handful of clubs have been contending and that OK has not yet made an appearance.

I would be in favor of making a bid for next year's Crystals, but one must always keep in mind that there is another relay out there that OK must keep its focus on.

I have yet to orienteer in Wyoming so the Crystal Relay could be a meet I should plan for. Do we have any other interested runners?
