Fixing, Selenium Toning & Washing

So now I'm really mixed upI want to selenium tone fiber paper. I also want to use the Ilford Archival Processing Sequence (which is 2 bath fix,30 seconds each, 5 minute wash, 10 minute hypo-clear, 5 minute wash)so this being the first time I've ever used fiber brings up the following questions: : 1) Do I wash for 5 minutes, then hypo-clear for 10 minutes, then wash for 5 minutes, then selenium, then wash for ? number of minutes? : 2) Do I have to constantly aggitate when the print is in the hypo-clear? : 3) If I mix the selenium 1+3 with hypo-clear can I go directly to selenium? I want a strong Red Brown tone thus the 1+3 ratio. : Any hints would be appreciated. : Jim

After much trial-and-error, I have settled upon the following sequence for FB papers: 2 bath fix, 2 minutes in Kodak Hypo Clear, two minute rinse, selenium tone 1:3, rinse, 5 minute Perma Wash, wash in 90F water in an archival washer for 1 hour. Mixing the toner with Hypo Clear (putting the print into it directly from the fix) turns the toner into a dark brown sludgy mess in no time at all. http://www.ravenvision.com/rvapeter.htm
