greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Per several posters requests, just created a new category...

Military/Pentagon Papers/Hot Topics (New)

And am "in process" of re-assigning appropriate threads there.

Thanks Diane. Great idea. I know it's going to be a LOT of work. Take some time off and enjoy the weekend. We can wait.

BTW, let me know if I missed any, and will "fix" later.

(96 threads at the moment... Whew!)

Thanks for doing this setup... so much easier to check for new postings, etc.

I'm trying to find a copy of this NEW, IMPROVED survey Kos is talking to the mainstream media about, the one updated in August, that doesn't seem to include the "total failure likely" category. I'd like to look at the survey for myself, since the reporters don't seem to be passing on many of the details about it .. such as WHICH 20 cities are still listed as likely to have problems, and answers to questions others are asking on these threads about this survey. I don't see any link to it shown on any of the threads, but thought you might have seen it? Thanks.

Can I request a delete of that red goo design on the thread "Connect the Dots.. it's on this new area you set up. If you have time, of course ... Thanks once again.

Kristi,

Think this thread may help...

I've been sent so many copies of stuff, that "somewhere" I may have it, but not gonna sort it all until tomorrow.

Checked that thread Kristi, and don't see any "red goo." One of the other Sysop's may have zapped it though.

Wow! Here, I thought I'd read most of them, and come to find out I've been to only about half of them. And that was reading full time since the story first broke...
