The city of Cedar Rapidsis holding this commmunity meeting to discuss the status of area efforts to address the Year 2000 computer problem. This special forum is part of the President's Council on Year 2000 Conversion's national "Y2K Community Coversations" campaign. There meetings help citizans learn about the Y2K readiness of local businesses, local government agencies, and other key service providors.

This advertisement appeared in the Friday Cedar Rapids Gazette. I do not know whether or not Mr Koskinen will be in attendence. I know the City of Cedar Rapids just started making contingency plans less than one month ago. I am preparing a list of questions to ask the representatives (ie Cap Gemini report, Gartner Group report, Federal Government agencies) but would appreciate any other information or questions that I should ask.
