I sure have been getting a lot of "Server Busy" messages lately...is that why Flint says the forum is dying?

If the pollys would quit lurking here 24hrs/day, that would lessen the load considerably.

It is almost 5:00 PM here, CST. This is the first time I've been able to access this forum all day. Maybe those upgrades didn't work.

Threads started for the sole purpose of making witless, moronic statements would lessen the load considerably.

Hey oxymoronic Flintstone, are you related to Flint in any one way?

8 out of 10 times when i get a server busy I hit refresh and gain access. I don't know why.

I have to laugh. The server's been busy because the doomies have been having a feeding frenzy on the now discredited Navy spreadsheet. And the pollies have been so silent that a whole thread was started (by Andy) wondering where they all were.

And now 'a' says the server is too busy because of the pollies that aren't saying anything. Uh, right. Earth to 'a', is there anybody in there?

Is your middle name Quizling, Flint... you can be trusted about as far as I can spit [into a headwind]

"the now discredited Navy..."

HEY FOLKS - THIS IS MR. MENSA IN HIS TRUE COLOURS - SWALLOWING ECERYTHING THE GOBMINT SAYS HOOK LINE AND SINKER!!!

Hi, Flint.

You certainly are attacked constantly.

Remain calm and utilize logic. Reason will prevail.

When the stock market crashes, I would like to read your assessment of the depression scenario.

These are the last times of prosperity before the new economic paradigm will be enforced.

I'm glad you are preparing for hard times.

I wish others were as aware as you are.

Must be all that traffic that the new "Y2K Satire" forum is generating. Wow, they have a grand total of 102 messages in 5 weeks!

Maybe we can help them out, and send Mr. Greenspun a few bucks to get the server farm beefing up project going...

Tick... Tock... <:00=

I do think that Navy stuff caused a feeding frenzy that locked things up pretty good. And tonight, maybe it's people tuning in to check on the GPS catastrophe. Somewhere Phil Greenspun said it only takes about 100 people to book the server up solid. That's not many.
