Perhaps one of the most interesting points here is that this is first time I have seen the confidence level "slipping" in Japan. Their previous position had been to say that things are fixed, or will be fixed, before the rollover. Now, we get a slightly more realistic picture, in accordance with what numerous experts had been saying.

Electric power in Japan will be especially vulnerable, since they import virtually everything they need at the commercial level. Beyond fish, rice and assorted vegetables, they don't have much in the way of "raw materials".
