OT - OK it's official - Stock Market Crash next Friday according to the astrological Grand Cross... :)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

From kitco

Everyone was optimistic as the pundits of the day told everyone that prosperity was just around the corner. That nothing had changed bla,bla,bla.

As I have said stock market crashes are very rare and extremely hard to identify.

But as I posted here ONCE IN A BLUE MOON ( joke ) or SOLAR and LUNAR ECLISPE, with a Grand Square and venus and mercury moving behind the SUN in the SOlAR FIELD YOU FINALLY HAVE ALL THE COMPONENTS IN FOR A SPECTACULAR STOCK MARKET CRASH.

I HAVE BEEN HARPING about this for about 3 months but if you go to my Aug 5th 21:04 and Aug 6th 15;19 I explained this in further detail.

ON FRIDAY AUGUST 20TH IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1999 ( Drama ) ALL OF THOSE FEATURES WILL BE IN PLACE ONCE AGAIN ASTROLOGICALLY on the open.

These same features were present 1720,1873,1929 and to some extent 1987 when great liquidity crisis happened that brought the world markets to it's knees.

The most alarming feature is the Goldman Sachs purchase. Not because they will make gold go up in price but it is obvious they are positioning themselves to sell gold in order to modulate this crisis that Rubin and others know about that is upon us. It's just too Damn convenient Rubin, Goldman Sachs,half of the gold???

We have really got a problem now because the fed became political and there are NO LENDERS OF LAST RESORT for a Trillion of anything.

These Cabals have more information then anyone. It would not surprise me in the least if they have their own astrologers working overtime.

There have been so many technicals violated through the duration of this bull market making them useless in relationship to TIME.

Things like put/call ratios in a derivative world tell you very little especially when they are connected to gold/bonds/currency's/ stock index's. The fox's are guarding the chicken- ( Shit ) coop.

We have been at war all along but it has been fought on wall street. Our military strength and more importantly our political will cannot handle any war that would take down even as little as 10,000 lives.

The final component comes into play for a completion of a stock market crash this friday. And me and my data are nut's up exposed to this date.

If a stock market crash doesnt begin on friday Aug 20th I will be wrong and It will be as simple as that. But if I am right the world has some real hell to pay.

So far so good. The initial decline in the SPX and Dow have slightly different patterns but both reached important retracement levels on the Friday close. The S&P made it back up to the 38% level off the low which was the same position the rally in August of 1998 failed. That failure resulted in a very large decline that was considered here as an extended 5th wave into the late August low. The Dow has retraced back 62% of the initial decline and now sets up with a potential of a wave 3 down which is where you look for a crash wave. The Nasdaq dropped 14% from the July 19th high to the low made on 8/10. This was the same percentage drop experienced by the Dow in September of 1929 on the first move down. If you think the Friday the 13th rally was anything more than a whistle through the graveyard you are probably over exposed on the longside. A crash is not a certainty in the coming weeks but one is more likely now than any time since last year. The apparatus for stopping a slide short of a crash is far weaker now than in 1998 as well.

The Solar Eclipse on August 11th sucked the market down into a low just before that date as expected. AstroEcon established a short position at SPX 1368 on July 28th to take advantage of that move. AstroEcon covered a healthy amount of that short position in front of the eclipse at a profit. We expected a retrace back to SPX 1325 to start on the very day the SPX broke support at SPX 1277 and reversed. The Friday high was SPX 1327. NOT BAD EH?

Where from here? Subscribe and find out the current viewpoint or get it after the fact for free here next weekend. The coming week has become the focal point for the battle between bull and bear. By next weekend we should know for sure which side will win but by that time it may be too late to take advantage of the opportunity.

~~~~~~
I found it very amusing the hoopla surrounding the eclipse was devoid of much understanding of how these things really play out. An eclipse is a huge amount of latent astrological energy that mostly discharges AFTER the actual eclipse. No, the effect is not over yet and in fact is probably not even close to it. The quarter moon on the 18th and the full moon on the 26th are prime dates for significant events that will discharge the energy of the August 11th eclipse. It is not safe to assume the danger from the very nasty alignments present during the eclipse are over and the bull market will romp from here into the next millennium.
I always like your posts, Andy.
I even suppose that eventually one of your date predictions will be right! (or close, which probably counts).
Maybe I'll take thursdays paycheck in cash and not deposit it in checking till Monday, just in case though.
-- Jon Johnson (narnia4@usa.net), August 16, 1999.
Andy,
I am too much of an astrologer to ignore your predictions. However, in the spirit of general pugnaciousness I'd like to point out that the future is a big place. These aspects could easily point to the GPS roll over or the ever-spreading political unrest in South America.
I am curious to see how this full moon plays out. Although we won't really see an end to this Solar Eclipse/Lunar cycle untill the next new moon in mid Sept.
However the most interesting new moon to come IMHO will be in the first week of Jan. 2000.
Thanks! I just went out sold all my holdings, took out a loan on my house andborrowed on my credit card sop that I can short the market on a 1 week put. Gona be rich now I say rich!
-- (stupid@astro.nut), August 16, 1999.
Stock market crash Aug 20 -- just in time to practically coincide with the GPS rollover of Aug 21-22! Lets hope the first event does not happen at all, and the second occurs with no or minimal disruptions, otherwise the wish of many on this forum that John Q. Public "get it" will come true. And believe me, that old expression, "Be careful what you wish for, you might get your wish" will apply big time.
I'm a thinkin' that if this follows the 1929 pattern, we'll see one more good, strong upward spike before it all comes down in Octoberish- -almost overnight. Don't wait until then to sell!
I've been attempting to get in touch with Paco Rabanne for confirmation but he is not taking any calls.
I was looking for a trigger to start the rock slide in the stock markets and it looked like it will would have to wait until Aug the 20th to happen.
In my style of financial astrology you see the glaring stuff IRON/CROSS,GRAND SQUARE, ECLIPSES, where and how the North and South Node's are interacting, what sequence the planets are lineing up etc. that creates a picture of something.
Mercury, slow in motion is already behind the sun which tells me that there are some skidish traders who are poised to pull the rip cord in a micro-second. Venus also slow in motion move's completly behind the sun on the 20th completing EVERY ASTROLOGICAL ASPECT that I need to SCREAM CRASH !
Now the question is as Venus get's closer to positioning itself behind the sun on the 18th, 19th will it have any impact on the markets and the answer is probable yes. Incidently, Venus represents the Dipster's or Dipshitsters who won't be found this time around as I think they are out of money.
No traders, no dipsters,PPT looking pathetic these days, market should go down in DRAMATIC fashion on FRIDAY.
But also going a little further in my work I also noticed that the moon ( THE SECOND HAND ON THE CLOCK ) liked to be in mutable signs during crashes ie., Pisces,Gemeni, Virgo, AND ON FRIDAY THE MOON IS IN MUTABLE SAGGITARIUS.
So on friday ( at least according to my style of financial astrology ) there will be no excuses left for the market NOT crashing DOWN not UP this time. Everything that was present in the sky during the 1720,1873,1929 and to a limited degree 1987 will be present on friday.
It's very much like number painting.Only it's dot to dot in the sky. You begin to see an outline of a bear. You connect some more lines and you start to see Goldilocks. You continue to darken some more line's and relize that Gee,Golly it is Goldilocks but WHAT? That is little Goldilocks but she is inside Papa Grizzly BEARS STOMACH !
a solar eclipse is a point of power, good or bad. for me and my husband, it has been good. it's a good time for new ventures, imho. but this eclipse, and the 2000 rollover, may bring a 1987-style crash, but not a depression. according to astrologer E. Alan Meece, in his book Horoscope for the New Millennium, there are no signs of a worldwide financial collapse until the july 11, 2010 solar eclipse.
I think that astrology is crap, and just distracts one from the important things in life.
Astrology is a stick lying in the path,
for some people: you step over it and ignore
for other people: you pick it up and use it as a walking stick.
your choice.
Andy, what's this?
Goldilocks INSIDE of Papa Bear's stomach?
Does this mean gold investments will be swallowed up and lose value?
Will Papa Bear get indigestion and vomit up the gold into a new deposit?
What if he poos in the woods?
If we don't hear the sound of poo, then did he?
Wait, where is Winnie the Pooh?
Isn't he... GOLDEN?
Run, Winnie, run!
Nothing's going to happen till September... I need more time to prepare. No, wait... I have a friend visiting in September. Nope, can't be September. October then. Something definitly will happen in October. Then again I have surgery in October so that doesn't really work for me. Alright, November... but I'm planning a party November. December it is then. Wait, finals... hmmm... January.
-- Typhonblue (typhonblue@hotmail.com), August 17, 1999.
Don't fret, my dear. Winnie is safe and sound, tattooed just southwest of my left pelvic bone. If he does decide to run, I'll be smiling. ;^)
OK.
Andy, you're wrong.
-- No Spam Please (nos_pam_please@hotmail.com), August 20, 1999.
Well No Spam Please, that's what Andy said. Looks like you've been hanging around to rub it in. What a NITWIT. What a LOW LIFE!!
Now put this in your Little Black Book.
The stock market will crash this year!! Andy and anyone with a ounce of intelligence knows this.
Your Pal, Ray
-- Ray (ray@totacc.com), August 20, 1999.
No Spam my old buddy,
You'll notice that I DIDN'T SAY WHAT YOU ATTRIBUTED TO ME...
Scan up to the very top of this thread, the first line says "From kitco"...
Comprende??? From www.kitco.com - not my words, simply an attempt at a little levity that seems to have gone completely over you and Al.
Dear oh dear, give me strength :)
-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), August 20, 1999.
Cretin.
-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), August 17, 1999. Andy, thanks for signing off as "Cretin" Was this a Freudian slip?
I dont' think you need to seek strenth, either. You need to seek intelligence.
Al
-- Al K. Lloyd (al@ready.now), August 21, 1999.
Andy, one more little point, similar to the one atop your head:
You stated, above,
If a stock market crash doesnt begin on friday Aug 20th I will be wrong and It will be as simple as that. But if I am right the world has some real hell to pay.
-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), August 16, 1999
Why does this seem more like your usual inane "logic" than an attempt at levity?
Al
you don't need to respond to this, as I doubt I'll revisit this thread. It's getting a bit old...
-- Al K. Lloyd (al@ready.now), August 21, 1999.
Al K, Lloyd commented:
Well Al as soon as you see this thread come to the top of the Answers page you'll PEAK you NITWIT!!
Your Pal, Ray
-- Ray (ray@totacc.com), August 21, 1999.
LOL! good one Ray!
-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), August 21, 1999.
Andy,
>You'll notice that I DIDN'T SAY WHAT YOU ATTRIBUTED TO ME...
You did write it. (I can't testify as to whether your lips were moving at the time.) Right up there at the top of the thread for everyone to see. With no quotation marks, italicization, right arrows (as I use), indentation, or other signal to denote it as a quotation of someone else's words.
>Scan up to the very top of this thread, the first line says "From kitco"...
See how easy it is to use quotation marks when you want to, Andy? When you want to quote a phrase from your own posting, you use quotation marks ("From kitco"). How about doing so (or using another method such as indentation or italicization) for the words of _others_?
>Comprende??? From www.kitco.com
Of course one comprendes, _now_ that you've bothered to expand the "kitco" reference. ("Kitco" might have been someone's nickname rather than one level of a domain name. Not everyone's a gold bug, Andy. Please provide a recognizable reference next time.)
>- not my words,
Andy, you've previously followed a quotation of someone else's words with your own words, with no apparent demarcation. How was anyone to know that wasn't the case above?
>simply an attempt at a little levity that seems to have gone completely over you and Al.
Andy, I solemnly apologize for not appending an emoticon such as :-) to my previous posting so you'd know I was teasing you.
:-)
