Capri after the sunset

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread

Hello there, The above image was token in Massa Lubrence (Italy) with an F70 on tripod using a Nikkor AF lens 35-70/2.8D on Fuji Velvia. The exposure unfortunately was not recorded. I made several pictures during the sunset then I went back to my car. Hopefully few minutes later I looked behind I saw this charming view.

Very nice! I would crop the bottom a bit. There is too much black space there for my taste. Good job.

Przemyslaw,

I would not change a thing. On my monitor I can clearly see separation between the water and the island. Although, this is one case where a graduated neutral density filter would probably have helped.

Italy is one of my favorite places. Do you have a web page with more photos to look at?

Cheers,

Keith

Don't change a thing on this one. And I hope you learned your lesson about packing your equipment and walking off before the light is gone. Just be glad you weren't using a view camera.
