I am considering the purchase of a non-electric composting toilet.

Two brands appear to be the most heavily advertised: Sun-Mar and Biolet. One goes for $999. The other I have requested the price for.

Does anyone have experience with one of these or another non-electric composting toilet you can recommend?

there've been some good posts on here about 'making your own' composting alternatives. you'll have to do some searching on here to locate - i forget where they are, but they were recent.

i was going to buy one of the units u mentioned but decided against it. too many other less expensive solutions.
