Origin and history of Holland wall plaque

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Exchange: A Forum for Antiques and The Arts : One Thread

I have a wall plaque that is glazed. It is about 16 inches at the longest point and 12 inches at the wides width. It is not a rectangle but rather diamond shaped with scrolls all around the edge. There is a picture of a sailing vessel with people getting off or on in the center, dutch windmills in the background. Smaller saling vessels in the foreground. Some birds flying in the sky. The plaque is white and all the pictures and scrolling around the edges is a blueish-green. There was a paper on the back but all that is left of this paper is a fragment that has part of a word ending in tratcht (Holland). There is a "B" in the center on the back in the same color as the front of the plaque. Can you tell me something about this, where it originates, who made it, or where I can get this information?
