As to "Who is OT?" heheheheheh, well that you'll catch on to pretty quickly!

Yeah too bad OT threads have a way of slipping past the Moderators. I guess if you just slap an OT qualifier on the heading then it makes it okay to post. Oh, and bad news is obviously welcomed where OT good news is generally deleted and labeled "trollerly".

Just a coupla hints for you before your start your journey down the dark path Luke,...er Lou.

Fearfactory, At least the poster of the OT is kind enough to tell us it is off topic and if we don't have to go there, that is our choice. It is the posters that have nothing to say, want to flame, use profanity, or post a bunch of dribble that I do not care for.

1) OT threads often times contribute to the discussion. I have, in the past week, removed a couple that were so OT that they DID NOT contribute tothe discussion. I seem to remember more of the "Doomer" persuasion than otherwise, but that could be because it's 0449 on a Friday (I think) morning.

2) NO SUCH THING as a WHO is OT. Just have to have a take, and do it in a civil manner.

3) Since I DO work for a living (got home at 0345 this AM, started at 1500 thurs PM) I tend to NOT read EVERY thread or post. I USED to read only the ones that looked like they had something to say to my condition. NOW I tend to look at the ones that almost guarantee high energy flamery in uncivil manners. I MAY NOT remove some of the flamerish threads because they may have useful stuff and I can't remove the flamerish stuff and have something coherent.

rest assured, I tend to remove more from the folks who I nominally agree with than those I do not.

this particular carbon unit DOES, however, crave an indulgence, and that would be to let me find the bolts for the training wheels, so i can take them off, next week......

40 If memory serves, we looked into a FAQ possibility, and determined that, with Phil's software, the ONLY way would be to have a separate thread or FORUM and reference it from the PUBLISHER or the ABOUT pages. Neither of these is a reasonable alternative.

Elbow Greece, Chuck,

Was one of the posts that was censored the one where several of us were trying to be as rude to INVAR as he is to everyone else who has even slightly different beliefs than his?
