Here's your explanation:Thomas H. Davenport is a professor of management information systems at Boston University School of Management and director of the Andersen Consulting Institute for Strategic Change.
That should be a complete explanation. Chuck, who hauls these guys around a lot.

All that "observer" needs to do to find some insanity is to look in the mirror when the lights go out. Oops, I guess he won't be able to see himself then. Never mind.

The Forum already ran this article through the mill back in June. Not sure where the threads might be in the archives.

Davenport has been frequently selected (used ?) by the administration as a "reliable" source. He (like Charles Ruben (CPR)) is always available to push his own agenda and propaganda. But since his views agree with the administration's views, and since he holds acommercial position with a Boston University buy-line, he is quoted as an "honest" and "unbiased" observer. Funny, isn't it?
But he has no commercial or political interest in y2k issues, right?
