Also watch out for those wonderful Summer Clearance Sales to pick up the items you will need for next summer. Get larger sizes for the kids. We picked up lots of socks and underwear today.

Don't forget the manual pencil sharpener. I recently bought a new world globe. The countries have changed so much in the past few years, my old globe was just about worthless. Rubber erasers will be hard to come by if imports are cut off, so stock up.
The sleeping mats for small children are in stock and cheap now. They will come in handy for pallets for the floor and to waterproof a toddler's sleeping area if pampers are not available.

Last week Target had 70 page spiral notebooks for .12 cents. This week HEB Pantry has the 2 lb. jar of Bama Grape Jelly for .59 cents. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in Texas, you can buy clothing and shoes with NO SALES TAX!

In New Hampshire you can buy things all the time without sales tax.

Grandma -

But didn't you know? We Golden Staters have to pay for all the miraculous work that the DOIT is doing to completely remediate all critical CA state systems in less time than it takes to scratch off a lottery ticket! Yessiree, I am proud to pay through the nose to make up for all the screw-ups in Sacramento. Proud...
