Yellow on Blue very nice. Two Yellow eyes and more centered and you've got a beauty. Unless of course it's the rare Pfremmer one eyed owl, then it's a classic.

looks nice and sharp for 600 and tele and scanned. Can I ask how it was scanned and what resolution.

This slide was scanned on a Nikon LS-2000 at 2700 dpi as a 16 bit HSL image and then converted to an 8 bit RGB once in Photoshop. The only adjustments were auto levels and unsharp mask.
