Submission Leaderboard

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

In light of the recent submission frenzy, I couldn't help but check out how many inps our new MARP neighbors have sent in. Well, that then led to more curiosity. So below is a totally useless, meaningless list for those of you who enjoy viewing these kind of totally useless, meaningless lists...

I've listed the volume of submissions by the top 20 MARPers according to the leaderboard as of 8-1-99:

JoustGod - 394

BBH - 297

German Krol - 297

Zwaxy - 276

Q.T. Quazar - 246 (note: wow! and he just got here!)

Dave Kaupp - 213 (same note as above :))

JSW - 212

Angry - 207

Steve Krogman - 207

lagavulin - 204

Donut - 202

BeeJay - 153

Dith - 152

Cronos - 133

Sports Dude - 119

Phil Lamat - 112

Ken Okamoto - 102

Renzo Vignola - 100

Krool - 83

NotMan - 70

Hmmmm...gotta find better things to do with my time, huh?

It's funny, everyone talks about Dave Kaupp and Q.T. Quazar's rise to the top, but everyone forgets about my literal rise from the dead. I did submit recordings for the last betas of MAME .35, but it wasn't until Quazar came when I started my leaderboard boom...and as a result, I have began to climb up...and first it was a major rise, but I've slowed up, largely due to the decline of GeoShock...but I'm still looking for some games to record. This should raise my upload total to at least 175 by the end of the month...and I may try and make a huge uploading boom happen on August 20th...this is my 17th birthday...and I could make some big steps at becoming a big time MAMEr that day. But as for now, I gotta work on some games...=)

Oh, hey, Sportsdude, this wasn't meant to slight your version of the Phoenix with your recent activity but...you gotta admit that QT and DK's submissions are without precedent here at MARP. Even I and my famous mass submissions never reached this level!

Hmmm...turning 17? God, now I really feel old!
