On the Drudge show on FOX, Matt said that he would have a new story on his web site early in the week about L.A. going on "72 hour tactical alert" for the rollover. His guest at the time was (LA?) talk show host Larry Elder. They got into a pretty "spirited" discussion, with Drudge coming across as a big time GI, demanding that the LA mayor come clean about what they expect to happen, and Elder taking a more middle of the road position. Interesting indeed.

Drudge is surely reading worldnetdaily.com to be so confident. He also knows Ruddy well. I suspect Drudge is a GI. Drudge makes a good point. If our governments are making plans that reveal more than a 72 hr. storm then they should be telling the people so they can prepare as well. Why are they keeping this a secret? My answer is that they fear panic. They will get they can handle for not being open about their y2k plans.
