....Hi folks! I've started worrying about 3rd world diseases and our lack of readiness for them to occur here. I asked a friend of mine what he saw of disentary (sp) in Nam, he said he lost 50 lbs in one week, and that it can kill you FAST. So, which diseases are likely here, and what should we do to prepare? Tim, For sure keep your immune system up. Get a variety of vitamins and minerals for at least a few months (expensive). Exercise every day if you are eating enough calories. Make sure you have enough fiber in your diet. Try to stay in a good state of mind.

Hepatitis A (not be Hep B as I shall not be coming into contact with other people's body fluids,I hope but might be worth considering for Y2K)

Also a warning given about food,water & hygene .lack of same leading possibly to dysentery,gut parasites & skin problems.

Also have to malaria tablets.

For Y2K I am also thinking of getting a flu jab this year.Hope this helps.

Thanks Mara Wayne. You wouldn't believe the immune boosters I'm on. I'm just getting over 2 yrs of acute leaky gut syndrome. Regular MD treated me for chronic fatigue syndrome. Was nearly bedridden for 2 yrs. Finally went to a naturepath who uses Vega System diagnostic tools. He had me back to work in 6 wks. BTW Vega System measures illness at the quantum level and can produce the opposite quantum sinewave to cancel the effect. Good-bye pharmeceuticals. (I don't own Vega stock, though I may buy some on the other side of Y2K, if possible. They're out of Germany) Also FWIW Synthetic drugs do not put out cancelling quantum signatures, only natural supplements do. 8-)
