This is the file you want:

Here's where you get it:

Spin, baby spin, disco inferno. Spin baby spin. And we wonder why the sheeple don't get it. How do you people in the juice industry put this shit out with a clean conscience? I find it difficult to fathom. My guess is that you're all laboring under some misguided sense of duty which allows you to believe you're really protecting the Sheeple from themselves. The logic must go like this, we can't tell them how it really is because they would panic. They can't handle the truth. In the long run they'll be better off if they never see the barrel of the gun that's pointed at them? Yeah right. Meanwhile you guys know the real deal and continue to hide in your little bullshit world probably preparing for disaster because your so freaking enlightened. YOU can handle the truth.

In my opinion, you all suck. May fate have mercy on your pathetic souls.

Yup, as objective, dispassionate and spin-free a post as is normal around here.

Ah yes,

That pesky little "Tricky Part."

I see that the spin Drs have even spinned the "doomer" label. Now we are "worriers."

Reality is much, much stranger than fiction.

Mercy is an excellant thing to pray for. We are all going to need it.

Before you hit that link, consider if you want to be logged or not. The site user information database will be logging your arrival and where you came from as well as your departure and, maybe, where you're going next. If you are very good, you might even get a little cookie.

Welcome to the NERC ftp site!

All transfers are logged. If this presents a problem, please disconnect immediately. Thank you.

Aw heck,

Anyone who posts here is running the same damn risk. Anyone can know where you have been on the web if they really really care.

Go ahead and look at it. Its nothing they really don't want you to know. There is no Y2k secret. If anyone on the web wants to know the truth about Y2k they will already. Anyone who isn't on the web will most likely never get enough info to make an informed decision.

Great link though.

I think it was (correct me if I'm wrong)Koskinen who said, " We're treating this as if you have a stadium full of people and the stadium is on fire. We are telling the people near the exits to start filing out. If we yell FIRE, we may clog up the exits. ( this is not an exact quote, but close )It does seem that there is a shift in perspective lately. I can sense that people I meet are starting to smell smoke, they're just not ready to believe the place is on fire.
