Ok, everyone has a pix of a dead log amongst the ferns; here's mine. A required shot for every portfolio, to go with the slot canyon shot, sunset, and cow skull in the desert. pentax 67, 75mm. North Ga.

"Everyone" might have one (or might not). This one is YOURS. Great contrast and DOF. Was this the shift lens? What film (almost looks too good for T-Max)?

I like too much this photo ... Nice place ... If I were you I would that another photo at the same place after a soft rain ... think the scene covered with rain drops ....

The picture has a very 3-dimensional quality, and looks somehow old-fashioned (in the sense "old things were quality things and decent work") - it must be the medium format, plus d-o-f, plus contrast. I'd be interested in some wide-angle pictures - there would be more plants and the leaves would be smaller, but I believe the MF would still keep excellent detail.
