Is it possible to anchor the dollar to gold at this point, considering that more and more money is being printed everyday. I mean, I don't even know WHAT the dollar is anchored to. Anything?

thats the point Mara...it has no anchor. It has no worth except what you "think" its worth. Gold has an intrinsic value. The dollar is worth only the paper it is printed on. Personally, I think Kemp is right. Every nation that ever went off the gold standard collapsed. When the dollar is achored to gold, it is the dollar that fluctuates to stay with the price of gold. Gold is stable, the dollar isn't. Taz
