In the recent A/V exhibition near my place I have encountered an interesting product : a SVCD+VCD+CD+MP3 player for a price of US160. But the brand is not well known (Amquest or something..) that refrained me from buying because of the fear of quality.

Is there any readers know of other well known brands offering (or planned to offer) the same capability? Also in my quest for a VCD player, I saw a Toshiba TVD960K advert that states "352 lines". What does this means? and is it better than other VCD players resolution.
