Does ANYone in the world consider Gary North a "messianic leader"?Does he even have any "fans"?

I thought it was rather dull and assuming. Regarding Gary North, he has been anticipating the EOTW since the 70's. I have no ill feelings for Gary. In fact if I hadn't stumbled on to his site by accident, it would have probably taken me longer to GI. I hardly ever browse his site anymore. And regarding Gary as a messianic figure??? Puhhhleeeze...I give no man more respect (awe?) than they are due. I do respect Gary more than Klinton....

The Weather Reports were my introduction to y2k, G. North's were the follow-up. As a member of the Ukranian Orthodox Church, I have no interest in North's Protestant stance. I'm certainly not shopping for a new one, though from what I can tell, it's not that much different from ordinary Baptist beliefs. Regardless, I respect the amount of effort and determination North has made in providing a news gathering service. I take all comments with a grain of salt, regardless of the site source.
