Picked up a copy of the DAMN this morning. WoW, y2k on the frontpage...

It's actually a half way decent article. Points out no-one knows what is going to happen etc....

I think if I were a newcommer to y2k and I read this article, I would do nothing - ho hum. It soulds like a bunch of PR people with smiley faces(except for the programmer guy). No real evidence set forth, no conclusions drawn, no offer of help, jusy a "sit back and relax" attitude, "we'll take care of it".

Why write such an article anyway. Better to reprint the CIA, GAO, Navy War College or even the recent Congressional hearings.
