FAA Critical Systems

According to recent CNN report the FAA critical systems have been fixed and verified by an independent source.

152 out of 424 critical systems required Y2k fixes.

Answers

They MAY have been fixed, I won't even argue that point when it comes to the FAA anymore. However the new systems don't work well. That's a new one. We are compliant but, it doesn't work!!!!!!!! LOL :)

Boston Logan airport's system (in Nashua NH) isn't even INSTALLED yet. Won't be until sometime this fall at best.

paul - that news (as reported there) has been analyzed in two other threads here.

Their glowing conclusion has been shown to be "false and misleading advertising" - I just hope no one gets killed flying because of it.
