Doomers@suck.com, I hope that you will be in attendance, and give these hypsters an ear full.

Also, you might want to make an appointment with some of the worlds leaders, and let them know in no uncertain terms, that the contingency plans that some of their organizations are making, are a total waste of time and money, and why they are certifiably nuts for even contemplating taking safe measures. You might want to start with Tony Blair, in Great Britain, as their plans for their military is in the news today.

What's the matter, punk, is it easier to take pot shots at people that you don't know, and don't have to confront, because you can be totatally anonymous.

You're the kind of skunk, that if this blows up into a life threatening situation, you'll piss and moan, and tell others that you did your best to warn people. You're the kind of little piss ant, that if you were in combat, no one would want you watching their back.

Sorry for the rant, folks, I don't normally let these lepers bother me, as I feel that this guy, and others of his ilk, persuade NO ONE, as they are transparent as can be. The only people that he can possibly get to seriously consider him, are other juveniles.

Michael -

Was just thinking the same thing.

The writings of Edward Yourdon, Jennifer Yourdon, Dennis Grabow, and Edward Yardeni are also recommended. See the Selected List of Y2K References and Resources at http://www.gwu.edu/~y2k/keypeople/gordon.

Don't these people understand? Ed Yourdon is dangerous, do you hear, dangerous!! According to Mr. Poole, Ed's responsible for numerous people making all sorts of foolish decisions. These folks at GWU have fallen under his Svengali spell, as well. Egad!

*sheesh*

Some papers, reviews, and other material relating to the conference is now available at http://www.gwu.edu/~y2k/keypeople/gordon/1999conference.

Videotapes of the conference will be available for viewing soon at http://www.y2kapproaches.com/real/pgordon.htm.

Parts 1 - 4 of my White Paper on Y2K is posted at http://www.gwu.edu/~y2k/keypeople/gordon. Part 4 was added August 18. It addresses the question: Why isn't the President taking action on Y2K? Congressman Kucinich also addressed this question at the conference. A transcript of his remarks are in the Appendix at the end of Part 4.

Part 5 addresses three scenarios that could unfold between now and the rollover. It should be posted very soon.
