Y2K CONFERENCE AT GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
The George Washington University Y2K Group is planning a four and a half
day conference July 26 to 30, focusing on
"Y2K ~ LOCAL, NATIONAL & GLOBAL CONCERNS -
WHAT FURTHER ACTIONS ARE NEEDED?"
In conjunction with the Conference, The Washington Post Company will
host a forum on "Y2K ~ Nuclear Power Plant Safety and the Electric Power
Grid" on the evening of Wednesday, July 28.
Roger W. Ferguson, Jr., Member of the Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System will be a feature speaker at the Conference from
8:30 to 9:30 AM on Thursday, July 29.
The Conference is free and all are welcome. A registration form is
attached below.
Media are particularly welcome to cover the conference. Questions
are welcome from the floor during the Q & A periods.
All plenary sessions of the conference except for the evening panel
program of July 28 will be held in
