HP3000CP backlit media profile

greenspun.com : LUSENET : L-F Printers : One Thread

Has anyone established a profile yet for clear and/or backlit media for the HP3000? I've been using the photo-gloss profile, but it is not acceptable for photos or where color accuracy is critical due to color shifts (the order inks are laid?)

If you are building your own profile using Profiler, you must use a piece of opaque white paper under the color swatches or your profile will be inaccurate. We've been able to get fairly good reults on our HP 2500 using Ilford backlit material.

Are you useing Calibration Equipment? I don't, i just go into Postershop and correct A file to my likeing then save(export) as a filter through filter Manager. This works really well for me.
