One of my favorites sites: captaindave.com comes up as site being reserved. What does that mean?

I believe that this means that the site crashed for some unknown reason. And that the makers of the site have no clue what to do to fix it. Or the site failed b/c of Y2K.??:-)

Perhaps "captaindave.com" is caught-up in a domain-registration dispute. Many people pre-register all sorts of web-addresses, in hopes of later selling them to people. A domain-name somebody bought for $50 (a year) can go for hundreds of thousands of dollars!

Carol, I believe Captain Dave will allow you to lurk for a short period of time but requires a minimal payment after that. I think it is a dollar a month. Used to be that way and probably still is.
