Hi there,

I've got a bunch of VCDs with 2 languages dubbed on them & when I play them it produces this kind of "echo" effect (both languages are played simultaneously, along with the background music/noise). Is there any way to isolate them so I can play only 1 language throughout?

A friend recommended using Xing player but it doesn't work on my PC (it's unsolvable according to Xing). Plus switching between left, right & stereo modes don't seem to work (they all produce the same sounds).

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Answers

One possible solution is to use Adobe Premier. This software is used for video editing and shows each audio/video stream or channel on the video. If the languages are split into seperate audio streams, you'll be able to simply delete one of them. You may have to convert your .dat to .mpg first though. Hope this helped.

Easy answer: double-click on your speaker icon. For the balance turn it to the right or left. That will solve your problem.
