Very nice. Even though it is a weed, it still has something going for it. The only comment I would have is the leading line in the background could more to the left. This would lead a bit more while still giving an even emptiness to the rest of the frame.

It may be a weed, but it certainly is a wildflower and it looks like a "wild" flower here. Nice subject, nice exposure. My only criticism is the very center of the flower (the stamens) seem a bit out of focus, but this would be an issue only if you blew it up quite large. I have the same Sigma lense and find it very versatile and easy to handhold when neccessary. Thanks for sharing, Donna
