Hello,

I'm looking for a battery pack for the Canon EOS Rebel SII. Is there one available?. If yes, could someone give me a model #, price...

Thanks...

Hi, Like you I have a REBEL S but I beleive yours is the upgraded model. I don't think there is a battery pack for these early Rebel models. I have looked and all I found was an extension grip (GR-70 about $30 below) which does add a few inches to the base of the camera and is useful for folks with big hands (like me). I sure hope someone would introduce a battery pack for the Rebel S since th 2 CR 5 can be hard to find outside the city. I have the Rebel XS, 3000 and 5000 which all have BP-8 battery packs which allow me to use AA batteries or rechargable AA ni-cads and this has helped me a lot.

I have also been looking for a battery pack for my new Rebel xs (it has the built in flash unit) Because I have had trouble finding lithium batteries and they are also very expensive at $14 dollars a piece canadian. So I was wondering if you had found a battery pack for this camer.
