** = See it worked.  Who says that herbal remedies aren't effective.

* = Not even a good try, here are the rules, if someone uses a
appellation for themselves, you don't get a point for using it too.  You have to come up with something unique all by yourself.

I was going to pull the original VSAM thread but I have too much work to do to get WRP 124 out.  I hoped that paul milne or someone would've pointed out to your pal, Whistle, that the Alan Deschert did not run us out of the mainframe newsgroup.

The idea of Alan Deschert as a mainframe operating systems heavyweight is unusual but hey, Whistle can simply change his handle and come back reincarnated.  And he should after this flub.  Alan Deschert, the mainframe expert ran paul milne and me out of the mainframe newsgroup, Ho-Kay, I understand the Polly analytical ability.

I suspect that Diane Squires is responsible for this.  Even since she shook that can of Hartz Polly-Off in the bedding and feeding area of TB2K, we've had this horrid infestation of Pollys in c.s.y2k.

Poor Steve Heller has been biting and scratching, I've got a rash on my right arm, and paul milne, let me tell you, we had to dip him and put one of those big funnel collars on him.

I'm guessing that there's really just 3 pollys, Poolley and two others who are playing change-my-handle.  I hope none of these Pollies is an egg laying queen.  If one is, we're done for, the weather is warm and it's prime Polly swarming conditions.

--a,

Hey, thanks for posting that one. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. An egg laying queen. Man oh man Cory, that was good!

Kinda sad, you are laughing, but like a two year old, you have no clue what it is you are laughing about.

-- Cherri (sams@brigadoon.com), July 14, 1999.

Cherri,

Sounds like you're talking to yourself in the mirror again. Mutter, mutter. Betcha been doing a lot of that lately, huh? That's the first sign that all this data is starting to get to you. Hope you make it.

Cory commented:

"I'm guessing that there's really just 3 pollys, Poolley and two others who are playing change-my-handle. "

Not an unreasonable thought !!

No doubt. There is a big difference between DGIs and the blatantly stupid, glaringly clueless FEW individuals who frequent the Y2K forums! The figure is probably more like 6.....the point remains the same. Milne and Cory, aka "the Orkin Men".

Queen control, got a queen? Call the mean.....

way, way too funny.......

-- lisa (lisa@work.now), July 14, 1999.

uh, Cherri, I don't about the rest of us, but I was laughing about the funnel collar.

Reality (direct exposure to) and mortality (having this property) will both drastically reduce the number of pollyannas next year; open question as to which one will have the greater effect...

As Poole said in his apology, Cherri, don't you recognize SATIRE--yumor--when you see it? Hey Diane--would you sprinkle some of that Polly-Off over here, please? LOL!

This is a classic, Cory, thanks!
