Forum Moderators: How about a "New to Y2K" category for the newbies?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I am considering creating a new thread containing links to the existing threads I have started for folks new to Y2K (a.k.a. the "newbie series"). As a result, it occurred to me that it might make sense to have a category specifically for them, where they can go for this kind of information and get it quickly since it would be in one place.

Other posters that have also started threads specifically for people new to Y2K could also do the same if they wanted. Future threads for the newbies could then be put there also. The alternative to a New to Y2K category would simply be for me to send the new series thread to the top periodically, but then it would not include the threads/links that other posters have written.

If you feel that this idea has some merit, then do you think it makes sense for it to be on this Forum since all of the threads are already here, or would it be better to ask about this on the prep forum? As I havent yet started putting the new series thread together, I thought that now was the time to ask. Let me know what you think.

And while they are at it, how bout that diane fan page? I would be a fan. Seriously, then all the trolls would have a place to go and stay away from here. They leave the prep place pretty much alone, don't they? please, diane, save us from this insanity!! be brave, we needz you!!!

A loyal fan. can I have your autograph on the back of your picture? I would pay $5.00. Think it would be a good post y2k suv'neer!!
