Greg, very nice exposure and focus. The shadow doesn't bother me, I think it adds an extra element of dimension to the subject. I think what I like most about this photo is it is a different view of a rose than most conventional shots. If this was printed I think it would look best if some of the right side was cropped off or even as a tightly cropped square. Very nice! Donna

Some purists may contend that roses do not meet the FoundView standards, but it doesn't really bother me, so...

I, too, like the view, and don't mind the shadows on the rose itself. The background doesn't do much for me, but, overall, it's a very nice effect. Good work.

I like that image. It's good the backround isn't totally black but it's in soft and mild tones.
