Debunkers Swear Poole didn't lie. Actually, they blame TB2000 for the deceptions

Do you really need a list? I mean, isn't ONE BIG DECEPTION bad enough? The whole hoax thread was full of deception and you know it. You talk about being a utility worker with a conscience, please!

As far as you not caring one iota what the Swamp Pit thinks, then why the apology? Oh right, that was just bullshit. Hence, Deception Number 2.

I could go on but I don't know you well enough nor do I care to investigate you any further. But I'm convinced there is more.

Poole DEMONSTRATED in a controlled 'experiment" VS: a min of 25 examples of DOOMER DECEPTION daily. Wednesday, 07-Jul-1999 10:13:57 151.164.58.202 writes:

I can document off the top of my head. Probably well over 100 de-bunkings of their "deceptions" and "misleading" PROPAGANDA. They are not dealing in "facts'. They deal in lavels of abstraction far removed from fact.

POOLE DID NOT DECEIVE: he "DEMONSTRATED" in a controlled experiment. Sort of like putting cosmetics in the Rabbits Eye as it were. They did not like it for assorted reasons. Some technically. BUT SOME DID LIKE IT and that was his point.

Newpaper and media reports based upon interview with self appointed experts.

White papers from VENDORS of IT services designed to get purchase orders are used "out of context".

Studies such as North's beloved "California White Paper" are applied to areas they do not discuss. He continuously applies the standards of Enterprise software remediation of Fort. 500 to ONE EMBEDDED SYSTEM or a collect of them. Just this week he posted "What about the year of testing?".

ALL this spun into a "PARADIGM" that is OBSOLETED BY NEW DATA.

NEW DATA DEMANDS RE EXAMINATION OF THE **OLDER PARADIGM *** DOESN"T IT??

Where is that "reexamination" or "reevalution"??

We know that North does not have it. Could Ed "its a ten year depression" Yourdon?? Who knows?? He won't "comment publically" (AT LEAST, NOT MUCH).

YOU are free to buy it. When you try to spread more of it, BE PREPARED FOR THE "POOLES OF THE WORLD" TO ANSWER YOU BACK.

The.. "YOU" IS GENERIC. IT APPLIES TO GN.EY.BRUCE BEACH, COWLES, MARTIN, AND ALL THE REST WHO SAW FIT TO PROPAGATE THE ASSORTED "MYTHS AND LEGENDS" OR WHO DID NOTHING TO "CLARIFY" AFTER THE TRUTH WAS REVEALED.

WHETHER IT WAS A SIN OF "OMMISSION" OR "COMMISSION" MATTERS LITTLE.

BEARING FALSE WITNESS AFTER IT HAS BEEN PROVEN FALSE IS WRONG.

POOLE CAME CLEAN IN A CAREFULLY DESIGNED "EXPERIMENT".

Poole is history. I am tired of seeing his name on this forum. Let it go.

Ignore him, and the rest. They've "proved" themselves, alright.

It's still Y2K... when push comes to shove.

Back to digging.

And still every single one of you little marks took it as the truth. Poole proved exactly what he set out to do and that is debunk the unknown source that supposedly speaks the truth.

All of you were in love with that post as it proved the power would go out, and made you fell oh so smart for spending thousands on generators, solar power panels, ect. And now you all try to back out of your endorsements.

Why don't you all just admit that you were all fooled and learn a lesson from it. All you have done is attack Poole for not being nice. When people have been physically threatening others in here that do not support your Mad Max fantasies of survival.

So continue your petty, "Poole is mean" crap and take it as a wakeup call that people such as Gary North and Paul Milne are clueless. Since they also felt that it was the truth.

Every one of us "marks" took it? Almost NONE of us took it fartface, can't you read? You're going to need to provide more detailed info. This is too lacking and general to be considered genuine info.

Wow guy, you're good! [not] We all better tell Phillips that they need to work on their numbering/naming schemes, because they overlap quite a bit with their consumer electronics gear. For example, the VRZ262AT is a stereo VCR. Hmm, the VRZ262-Q7 is some sort of power gizmo? I don't think so.

As a nontechnical outsider, I wouldn't have any idea of what a VZ whatever gizmo is. I've gotten somewhat more reassured recently about Y2K and U.S. power grids

Oh no! You mean the power companies won't be able to record their favorite soaps on that Phillips VRZ262-Q7? TEOTWAWKI for sure!

This is a hoax. Just to let you know that there's no such thing as a "Siemens System 3 SCADA" either.
