Say its not true.. Being mislead and deceived... less than 6 months now....How many more companies like this are out there???

An Australia-based Y2K software solutions company mislead and deceived about the effectiveness and business prospects of its product when promoting sales franchises, according to local watchdog, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

As a result of the allegations, the ACCC has filed proceedings in the Federal Court against Millennium Diagnostics (Victoria) Pty Ltd, Millennium Solutions (Australia) Pty Ltd and Millennium Solutions Group Australasia Pty Ltd.

According to the ACCC, Millennium Solutions said it has 350 technical support staff in 100 Australian locations, along with a full marketing, administration and consultant support infrastructure, when it did not.

The Y2K solutions company also claimed it had government approval when it did not, told potential franchise owners they needed only basic knowledge of computers and could earn A$600,000 per year.

As for the software solution itself, the ACCC said that it may not work on some computers and had limited application as a tool to make computers Year 2000 compliant.

The ACCC has sought an interlocutory injunction against the companies until the case is heard.

Nasty situation. To think the banking industry is warning customers about phone scams....what a joke. "WARNING...WARNING WILL ROBINSON do not turn your account over to a total stranger....keep it with US. We are professional scam artists, well known at that. We are insured by a non-compliant source, and THEY'RE extremely professional, they are not strangers....a little strange perhaps, but very, very smart, and professional, they know exactly what they're doing, no amateurs here."
