(OT) New tool for the government to snoop on you online

I guess I've seen it all now. They proclaim this as a noble tool to catch people trading kiddie porn, but when has something like this ever stopped without the government from prying deeper and deeper into our lives?

To former detective Frank Jones, "secure network" is an oxymoron. The word "delete" isn't in his vocabulary. Password-protect your computer and you'll make his day.

And if you really get on Jones' bad side, he'll take complete control of your PC--and your first clue will be when you open your door and the boys in overcoats start flashing badges at you.

If you're among the anonymous thousands of cyber bad guys who inhabit the Internet's underbelly, Jones is your worst nightmare.

The retired New York City detective works on the law enforcement sidelines building software tools to help the government and police crack down on online criminals.

And his latest tool is considered the ultimate weapon.

Getting DIRT on the Bad Guys

And if you are not doing anything illegal, what do you have to worry about? Oh thats right being paranoid makes you think everyone is after you.

That's right, Secret agent,

Presumed guilty until proven innocent... I shouldn't worry unless I've done something wrong? What country are you from? Ref: US Constitution, US Bill of Rights, etc.

Ever since a friend of mine was "demonized" in court as a "known Constitutionalist" by the EPA, I am not surprised at anything the feds. might do.

Act as if they were always looking over your shoulder, but pray they are not.

But I'm sorry, we aren't allowed to pray in public any more. The government can only subsidize "the mother earth" in science classes as a religion, not morals and ethics.

Those are forbidden.

Kind of old news, folks.
