620 film from the 1960s

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I have recently acquired an old Kodak camera made in the late fifties or early sixties. It takes 620 film and my efforts to find film have been unsuccessful. I am interested in scanning the negs on a flatbed scanner as the negs are quite large. Two queries 1. Does this film still exist anywhere in the world? 2. Has anyone ever scanned thi film

many thanks

This question comes up once every six months or so. 620 is exactly the same as 120, only on a different spool. There are some companies that sell it respooled, or you can do it yourself.
