Important tournement question

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

I can't seem to find if this question has been asked before, so I might as well bring it up now. If you already have a score on a particular game that's in the tournement, AND it happens to of been played on the exact settings that the tournement specifies, then can that score be used to re-upload so-to-speak? For instance, everyone konws that I have 20M+ on Galaga ff, and for me to have to play again, would take another 10+ hours! (providing I get that high again or even higher). I will do what ever is necessary to comply with the rules and regulations of this tournement. If every player has to re-play a game they may of had a score on already that is really good, then I will have to do the same. Please don't think I'm trying to weazel out of playing by just re-loading some inps I already have on the MARP board to use in the tournement, It's an important factor, and thought I would bring it up. I can tell you this though, it's very interesting how all of a sudden I'm starting to see nice scores on a few games from players I never expected! I've been asking for a litte competition on some of the games I'm leading by a long shot on for I don't know how long now. So, another words, a quick congrats to Notman on Galaga 1.5M!!!! :) Now, let's see some really high score on this game. Ummmm BeeJay??? :)

Did they give high scores out in New Hampshire based on previous reputations? I think that should answer your question, Mr. Krogman.

I have had to rerecord 2 games myself that I hold the #1 spot on in MARP, so you can too. I want to see a 20M galaga score, but Galaga is not one of my strong points. Question, is the ROM name for Galaga Fast Shoot galagafs or galagads?

it's galagads - why? I have no clue...

Hey Steve!

Let me save you a few hours of work. Rerecord using 0.35RC2 and STOP when you reach say 4-5 Million. Since we're not going with % then that should be enough for 1st place.
