Shouldn't the govt be full of good news today?

Ok. So the utility industry is claiming to be all good now. Nevermind that there are no stats or hard data to back it up. What about the govt.? Aren't they supposed to be announcing that their "mission critical systems" (whatever that means) are ready too? Where's the fanfare? The parades? Or just a dang press release?

Isn't this the day the Feds start their new fiscal year? (The day some believe will result in all kinds of bad shit happening?)

You weren't actually expecting this deadline to be met, were you? What's the percentage of America's electric utilities that have announced their 'announcement' today? Maybe Mr. Hoff will provide us with that, think? Well, he is pretty busy digging. Something about a free t-shirt or something.
