Meds...Dear Karen #49...etc.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Dear Karens issue #49 was e-mailed today and will be on her website in a few days. The principal topic was prescription meds. She highlights a US book with everything necessary to order meds from outside the country with no risk. It ain"t cheap....$149. so I hope someone I know will buy it so I can experiment with a token order. If anyone on the forum should get it please let us know your results. If I can find friends to share the cost I will get a copy. I don't think it is a "rip-off", otherwise Karen would not endorse. Both my mother and my wife need lots of meds and getting a back-up is difficult (but we are working on it).

On another note, I called my ML stockbroker today and will be starting to put some money into a bear fund. I am already in T-Bills.

I figure if you are going to be a bear...be a grizzly!

Mucho gracias....living in Phoenix I should drop down to the border (4 hours) at Nogalas.

(Another topic rather than another thread...) Today on North forum a solar system company named Golden Genesis was mentioned. They are located in Scottsdale and sell a system for $1600. that will give 1100 watts...I called information for their number ( 1-480 948-8003) and when I called them I was given the number and address of a local distirbutor. I know to do it right would cost thousands and that just ain't gonna happen, but it would be nice to have enough solar power for some lights, a small frig, etc. I have my generator.

I kind of think Karen has flipped. Or she has quit checking what she is selling.

Shoot, just call the phone number in this link and check this out at the source.

From what I have read, If you order meds from other countries, you can run into problems with customs.

Karen also sells a medical book for $150. I bought it and its worth about $10 at most.
