D.C. Y2K meeting tonight (GWU and Washington Post)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

George Washington University and the Washington Post jointly sponsor a Y2K meeting each month. They are well worth attending. The questions asked of the presenters are as interesting as the presentations. The Post is getting worried because attendance is dwindling. Please attend if you are in the area. We need to reinforce the meesage that the public *is* concerned about Y2K!

The Washington Post actually cares about something besides hard-core leftist diatribe? Go figger...

Yes - believe it or not, they do (Post cares). They sponsor this forum once a month. It has been televised on C-Span. They take questions from all parties and all you have to do is watch the face of the Post representative to see that at least one Post employee is a GI.
