Are there any companies with HPTs who have operators as maintenance spokes? I am very interested in the technical levels of involvement of operators in manufacturing atmospheres. Particularly the training the operators go through. I am currently researching our own practices and would like to see how other companies are handling the maintenance spoke and technical training. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many companies are handling technical training for maintenance by utilizing the maintenance experience in house to create modules on computer with the assistance of technical training experts. This works really well and the maintenance personnel themselves design and implement the training as part of their team activities.
