What is the sheer strength of a .2" diameter resistance spot weld that joins 20 Ga. CRS to 20 Ga. CRS.

The shear strength for the type weld you are looking at is approx. 1,350 pounds. I assume that the .2" spot weld you refer to is the diameter of the nugget.
