Two Heads are Better than One

I believe there are many single Y2K preppies out there dying to link up with other singles. The need for teamwork is great, linking up is hard. My own temptation to post my bio here is great, but, I think, inappropriate. I've chosen this post to be archived under "Survival Isuues".....Any suggestions out there?

WOW...go for it Tim!! Try a Newspaper Ad with a PO Box number or an e- mail address. "If you build it, they will come"

Tim,

Suggest linking up online in a chatline, ex: ICQ

That way you can talk online & get to know person before meeting 3D. Draw up a checklist of what you're looking for in a partner and discuss it with potential candidates.

Be upfront about what you are looking for. A lot of people obviously lie and deceive about there intentions. Just about EVERYONE lies about themselves to make them feel good...so most people are going to be younger, prettier, slimmer, smarter, etc. than when you meet them. But you might be looking for more than appearances only and online you can tell alot about a person.

I've known a lot of people that have gotten married this way. It's an intense, quick way to get to know someone before you decide to meet. There are also online chat rooms that you can talk long distance albeit slowly.

Good luck!

Tim - a single female preparer, here. I am just about dead from working two jobs to pay the bills and trying to get the "homestead" reconfigured by my lonesome. Just don't have the physical strength to move all "dem mountains." I can understand why one of the first divisions of labor was among male and female. Let me know if you develop a meeting site.

Personally, I would rather opt for "true love," but a warm protector under the buffalo skins might prove to be more prudent. Arrgh - the first casualty of y2k may be romance.

Honey...romance has been found in some of the strangest places down through history....it's been the number one 'survivor' and this won't be any different!
