Is anybody on this board using Final Cut Pro? It's only the hottest, most stable NLE program around and a true, native FireWire/DV solution. I've been cutting a documentary I shot in Cuba on DV for four weeks now. I started out with Premiere 5.1, and had cut 7 minutes of it when FCP came out. After trying it out for just a few hours, I decided to start all over using it instead of Premiere. It's that elegant and stable, even in version 1.0. If your serious about DV editing, IMHO, it's the only way to go.

Just wondering about G3 and Final Cut Pro... Has anyone had problems capturing at low rez and then batch digitizing afterwards... This would seem to be a solution to need for great amounts of storage space for DV.

I have a friend who has a G3 with Final Cut Pro and he has edited 3 DV features on it. No major problems or glitches. For the money it is the best thing out there.
