BTW... numerous Kansas City Star Newspaper articles and the KCTV channel 5's news story in print just didn't make a bit of difference to ya did it? That figures. You only show your lack of intellect. Thanks R.C. I'm not sure I'd qualify for being much of a lady anymore and I *know* Leska isn't (hahahahooohoho...just kiddin' Leska, you know I love ya). Paul Milne said that the country is waiting for *the* big sign, and when it comes, they will be swept away in the panic of it. He's right. I question my participation in this forum every day. My husband asked me tonight if it would be worth it to me if I found out that something I may have said, at any point, may have gotten just ONE person off the fence to prepare their family. Just one family. Who knows? Maybe that one family will wind up protecting the future President. God knows we need one. There are many good people here...Americans. I'd fight back to back with them any day, I only wish there were more and they were closer. The rest are hollow shells...Y2K bait. Shallow, selfish, fightened. They won't last long and hopefully have no children depending on them.

Will continue, this should have been posted on the original KCPL thread, but it got soooooo long. I live in Shawnee, KS and read in the Sun Newpaper about the first substation fire. I didn't save the article but I think it was about a month ago. That one was at 95th Street & I-435 on the west end of Lenexa about 2 miles from us. The second was in Olathe. My husband works the night shift at Exxon- Southwest Grease & Oil in Olathe directly across from the new Great Mall of the Great Plains. It was about 2 weeks ago during his shift that the power went out. They sat outside for the last three hours of their shift WATCHING KCPL trying to reroute power through another substation behind the plant next to Exxon. Personally, I have instinctively distrusted KCPL's happy stories since the Hawthorne explosion.
