Answers

Search for VCDGear. It converts .dat, .raw, and .cue/bin into mpeg.

VCDGear can be downloaded at http://www.slinker.com/ Click on VCD Tools. It's a DOS based program. You have to read the manual that comes in a MS Word format before you do it. It's short. Learning to use it only takes minutes. Hope this helps.

The easiest way I found to convert .dat files is using windows media player and "eXstream MPEG". The way I did it was simple. I just opened the dat file on my media player version 6.4 is what I used, go to file, save as, at the end of the file name add .mpeg and save it. Now you have an mpeg file. Then I used eXstream and converted it to avi. The dat file seemed to run more clearly as an avi. Or just leave it as the mpeg you saved with media player. Simple. Hope it works for you. Good Luck

je n'arrive pas à graver mes fichiers ASVQ avec nero 5559 alors que j'ai le plugin . d'autre part, l'encodage est très long

Rocky Bradley's answer worked like a charm for me.... Open it in Windows Media Player, then save it with .mpeg extention in the name...
