"...why do you white folks build mansions here & act like earth is your permanent home?" Such wisdom... from people now operating casinos.

Al,

You sure sound like you are doing a bunch of preps and have some big contingency plans in place. Where did you learn about all this stuff?

It's all,

Just what IS our permanent home? I'll take a short or long explanation.

Permaculture is a good word; there are many books and magazines devoted to this subject. Many workshops are given each year on Permaculture in New Mexico.

Gawd! I can't believe I clicked on an AL-D thread! (Of course now that he's CAPITALIZED, maybe he's also halfway to being Dieterized.

At least he's talking about something now. I think.

Permaculture is what caught me. That's really something about land and growing food. Al might have a contribution to make here! Can this forum really redeem _anyone_ who sticks around awhile????

Maybe y2kPro will research burger-freezing at that Burger King job?

And just for you, "It's all", I think you said your name was: It took the whites a century here to figure out whiskey and smallpox- infected blankets, eh? Once the Indians figured out _our_ weakness was Gambling (money; lure of easy riches -- they spotted that one early on) and they were able to build casinos with what was left of their treaty rights and not get torched out, or machine-gunned, or raped, or SCALPED, or skinned, or disemboweled, or castrated, or burned alive, or starved, or frozen, or marched to death, or forbidden to speak anything but English, or forced to abandon babies and grandparents, or forced to watch their babies speared on the ends of bayonets...

why sure, then casinos seemed like a modest proposal, in context...

...OH! But how I DO go on.... forgive me, gentlefolk. I must get back to making my preparations to continue living in a _civilized_ manner. Hmmmm, that would be, uh, land, engines, fuels, money, guns, bullets, supremacist ideology... where's that shopping list?
