I'm posting this for those in real need to find medicines. NOT vouching for the book you have to buy to get procedures. But Michael Hyatt has been reliable in the past. Hope this helps someone out there.

ANNOUNCING: THE SOLUTION TO A MAJOR Y2K PROBLEM

On Sunday, May 23, 1999, "60 Minutes" ran a segment on Y2K. The story marked a major turning point in Y2K coverage. It sparked both a 174-point sell-off in the stock market and a rush to purchase additional Y2K supplies.

"60 Minutes" reaches tens of millions of people, many of whom have been denied objective information. Most information on Y2K comes from sources that have flatly refused to investigate Y2K or even ask tough questions of those claiming compliance. As a result, these people have been getting the "positive spin" on Y2K. And this positive spin, as it turns out, is usually something *less* than the whole truth.

But even the spin can't hide the cold, hard facts forever. The Y2K naysayers first said Y2K was a joke or a hoax. Then they said maybe it was real, but it was no big deal; everything would be finished by the end of 1998. Then in early 1999, these same people said "Okay, maybe it will take a little longer to fix, but 'planes won't fall from the sky.'" (That's the last desperate chant of people in Y2K-denial.) Now in mid-1999, these naysayers are saying there's still no problem because everybody will be compliant by September. Do you see a pattern here?

The general public is beginning to wake up. One by one, little light bulbs are clicking on inside their heads. When enough light bulbs blink on, people will act. When that happens, it will undoubtedly cause a shortage of critical supplies and result in other serious repercussions.

The "60 Minutes" story gave the American public a chance to hear some serious quotes from some serious people. Here's a quote taken from Ms. Hanley, a top computer systems specialist hired by the District of Columbia to fix their computers.

"If we lose power, through the power grid as any other state or city . . . we will not be able to function normally and could produce rationing. We think there will be some disruptions . . . in the supply chain."

That's a BIG "if." IF power works; IF gas works; IF Bell Atlantic works, the grocer supply works; IF pharmaceutical companies make enough pharmaceuticals; IF people should horde things.

Simply put, Y2K ISN'T SOLVED YET. Furthermore, it doesn't look like it's going to be solved any time soon. A recent CAP Gemini study revealed that 22 percent of the Fortune 1000 do not expect to get even their "mission critical" systems fixed by January 1. (That's up from 16 percent last November and 12 percent last September.) If our "best and brightest" companies are experiencing this kind of slippage, what chance do smaller companies and government agencies have with even FEWER resources to throw at the problem. And yet, the spin continues.

The truth is that some companies and some people are going to be hit hard by Y2K, either financially or physically. Not everyone, of course, maybe not even you. But certainly tens of millions of Americans are going to be affected in some dramatic way.

It could be power outages, food shortages, transportation problems, medical supply shortages and more. No one knows for sure. Regardless, 01/01/00 is not a time to depend on others for your survival. Chances are, they'll be up to their neck with their own problems.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO THE POINT OF THIS URGENT MESSAGE

I recently found the solution to a problem that has been haunting me . . . one that I get asked EVERYTIME I speak publicly on Y2K.

Please read the following story about a friend of mine it lead to a *remarkable* solution to one of the most life threatening problems that will arise with Y2K and why it makes it moral my duty to send you this message.

"It was a cold December night and the wheezing in my chest was getting worse. My chest got tighter and tighter. I was having an asthma attack while visiting my mother for the holidays. To make matters worse I didn't want to alarm her, as it was clear I needed real medical attention. This was a life-threatening asthma attack. I could hardly breathe, it felt like I was suffocating. It must be the same helpless feeling that you can imagine when someone is drowning.

"While laying in the hospital bed, I noticed that much of the equipment had been red tagged with a 'Y2K complaint' inspection sticker. A cold chill went over me; I must have turned as white as a sheet. I remembered thinking, 'What will happen when Y2K removes my ability to access my medications when I need them?' I know that hospitals today stock medications on an as needed basis. I had some real fears about not having extra medicine in my home before October of 1999.

"After getting my release from the hospital I decided to investigate stockpiling my prescription asthma medication. Little did I know the frustration and utter panic it would cause. When I went to my doctor, I was afraid to tell him I wanted to stock up on my medications for Y2K (I was afraid he'd laugh at me). So I told him I wanted to stock up for an extended bit of travel. His response after quite a bit of probing was "I'll be happy to prescribe enough medication for a month." (A month! I wanted to stock up for a year!) I took the script to my pharmacist where the next wave of third degree came. Why was I getting so much, was I taking more than I'm supposed to, and so on. What happened next made my blood boil.

"The prescriptions were for four refills to be filled now, but the pharmacist filled two and marked the label ZERO REFILLS. So his math says four minus two equals zero. But that's not all. My insurance company refused to pay for advanced medication, and I had to pay out-of-pocket. The total for just two weeks of extra medication was $248! If I intended to stockpile for a year I'd have to find another way!"

That story forced me to face my own and my family's mortality and invest countless hours in the relentless search for someone who had the solution to the serious and life- threatening PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE SUPPLY CRISIS that we face when Y2K strikes. Many people close to you and me may have their lives threatened because they can't stockpile the very medicines needed that allow them to live day to day.

DISTURBING REPORTS from top levels of government and pharmaceutical companies indicate that when Y2K strikes, 4 out of 5 of your currently prescribed medicines MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE. This is the result of the U.S. pharmaceutical industry's near total dependence on foreign raw materials. (Yes, 80 percent of the raw materials used by U.S. pharmaceutical companies to manufacture drugs come from abroad.) More than likely, the ingredients in the medicines you used this morning originated overseas.

To make matters even worse it's possible that pharmacies may be closed, out of stock, and unable to confirm your prescription medication orders by telephone (if phones are even working). Furthermore, some experts believe that hospital supplies will be scarce if they exist at all, and you'll wait in long, long lines just to acquire what little supplies may be available. (I probably don't need to remind you, but the health care industry is less prepared for Y2K than any other industry segment!)

As supplies dwindle, the doctor-patient-pharmacy supply chain could become corrupt, leaving many without their vital prescriptions. Millions of decent people, just like you, may NOT have access to their needed medications when Y2K strikes. And what if hospitals in your area are operating on backup generators only; unable to meet the slightest demand, they may be forced to turn you away. Even critical surgeries could be canceled due to computer failure!

Another problem in attempting to acquire and stock medications is that doctors will not prescribe six months of advance medication. Even if they did, INSURANCE COMPANIES WON'T PAY FOR IT, and pharmacists won't fill such a supply.

Well it wasn't long before all roads lead me to the world's foremost authority on legally and legitimately stockpiling ample supplies of medications for Y2K. His name is Michael McCormick. After some extensive research into Michael's background and his solution, I sat down with him and reviewed the prescription medicine supply crisis with him. His expertise amazed me. He told me that getting meds legally from overseas is something that he had been doing for more than 2 full years. I soon came to understand why his solution is COMPLETELY sound, legal, and easy to execute. It is something anyone can do -- *with* the right information.

I told him what meds I required (the ones the existing public U.S. healthcare system was preventing me from stockpiling). He handed me his guide and told me to follow the instructions to the letter. That was easy because it told me *exactly* what to do, step-by-step, in clear layman's language. I found the medicines I used every day and they were dirt cheap (compared to the pharmacy price here).

Before I recommend ANY product or information package to you, I have to be THOROUGHLY CONVINCED beyond a shadow of a doubt that you'll receive legitimate, legal advice. So on . . .

- Monday April 5th, 1999 I sent the "test" order...

- Tuesday April 13, 1999 my order arrived!

- EXACTLY as promised 100 percent ironclad legit

The impact that this life-saving information will have on saving lives, makes it imperative that it is available to you while there is still a window of time left for you to make use of it. I thought you should know about it because this could be the most life-saving advice you'll get to survive Y2K. The complete details are in a letter which you can download for free. It reveals the real-world, easy-to- follow, step-by-legal-step approach written by the world's foremost authority on this subject, Michael McCormick.

By now, you're aware of the need to prepare, if you're even remotely interested in protecting yourself and your loved ones, then I urge you to order the Y2K PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE SURVIVAL GUIDE right away with its 100 percent money-back, no-questions-asked guarantee. Hello - thanks for the info. When I looked into this there were all sorts of warnings that orders may be seized and/or stolen before making it through customs. They answered my query re: this and said things like pain pills, antidepressants, etc. are most common problems, antibiotics, etc. not usually a problem. I decided on vet meds, cheaper and still from the same drug companies - just not in little bottles and gelcaps.

I know there have been previous threads about this, but I cannot find any that detail the vet substitutes for human medication. Can anyone help?

Sorry, but the $149 price for this book is just too pricey! If it were a *reasonable* $24.95 I might pop for it, but I just HATE getting gouged and exploited by paying exorbitant fees like this. (So much for helping out your fellow man and opting for materialism instead. Thumbs down for these guys!)

I'm not buying the book either, but no-one in my family (extended) is in need of special medicines as far as I'm aware. There are some people in real need --- if so, I think this is a POSSIBLE source.

Michael Hyatt has been a good source of info and help.

But again, everyone has to determine whats best themselves. Its just a FYI message that a few may want/need.
